The September 2007 Radiation Research podcast is presented to you by Massimo.
This month we launch a new column: the News Minute, curated by Vered Anzenberg. In its first issue, Vered gives you a step-by-step guide to SciVee, a web repository of videos of scientific experiments. SciVee contains poster casts, videos, and pubcasts. Well, we all know what they are, right?
The interview of the month was curated by Massimo, who spoke to
Hongying Yang, from Massachusetts General Hospital. Hongying Yang is the
lead author of the paper entitled The Time Dependence of Bystander Responses Induced by Iron-Ion Radiation in Normal Human Skin Fibroblasts.
Hongying’s article focuses on bystander effects induced by heavy ions, in the context of radiation in space.
Sara Rockwell highlights what’s in this month of Radiation Research.
