Take this opportunity to register early and save on the 61st annual meeting! Held in Weston, Florida on September 19-22, 2015, the RRS annual meeting is the most important opportunity for researchers in all areas of radiation research to discuss new and important findings, and also to enrich the multidisciplinary objectives of the RRS. (Please note the new change in day pattern - the meeting starts on a Saturday and ends on Tuesday).

Members of the Program Committee have put together an outstanding scientific program, including world-class plenary speakers, a debate session, and interdisciplinary symposia and workshops covering the state of the art in radiological sciences. The meeting venue is exceptional, encouraging both formal and informal interactions between scientists and scholars-in-training, and promotes collaborative studies and training of the next generation of radiation researchers. PAINTER DEBATE: This House Believes that...
RADIATION DOES NOT OFFER ANY CARCINOGENIC RISK TO ASTRONAUTS
Saturday, September 19, 2015

 PRO: Boreham
CON: Weil

This year's topic: "This House Believes that Radiation Does Not
Offer Any Carcinogenic Risk to Astronauts", will be argued by Doug Boreham (Pro) and Michael Weil (Con) with introduction by Martin Brown.

The debate session was reinstated as the "Painter Debates" this year in honor of the late Robert Painter, who was the initiator of the debate session in the early years of RRS. RRS proudly returns to this tradition of days remembered - where debates are filled with fun, colorful characters as well as scientific controversy.

The debate session is included in your registration and offers a boxed lunch to enjoy while listening to Boreham and Weil give their points of view on the topic.
