Committee Responsibilities: To increase the visibility of SIT members within the RRS community. At least one SIT committee member will have a seat on the Membership, Finance, History, Communications/Website, ad hoc Government Relations, Constitution and Bylaws, Program, and Education and Training Committees. The SIT committee works with the Education and Training Committee to organize and plan the SIT Workshop, which is held the previous day prior to the annual meeting. The SIT committee invites an honored speaker for the symposium "What’s Hot”, which is held at the annual meeting. The SIT committee works with the Program Committee to integrate more SIT presentations into the mainstream meeting program. The SIT committee advocates for the interests of the SIT community and works to offer networking and community opportunities within the Radiation Research Society.

Committee Reporting: The committee reports its activities to the RRS Council through the President.
