DID YOU KNOW?
The former "ASA Radiation & Health" Meeting is now partnered with RRS as the "Conference on Radiation & Health"

Attendees at the RRS annual meeting are invited to join CRH sessions held in tandem, and vice versa. CRH participants have been requested to become RRS Members as well.

The first annual K-12 Science Teacher Day, spearheaded by President Francis Cucinotta, is currently accepting registrations and will be held the day before the start of the annual meeting, Saturday, September 20, 2014.

Dear @@first_name@@ @@last_name@@,

ANTICIPATION, EXCITEMENT, HIGHLY ENGAGED COMMITTEES AND A FANTASTIC PROGRAM COMMITTEE RALLY FOR THE 60TH ANNUAL MEETING!

Your RRS Meeting Teams are so excited for this year's meeting that we are all banding together to await the opening of the registration site so you can join the buzz. Our favorite quote comes from the Membership Committee Chair, Janet Baulch, "Many hands make light work". Janet demonstrates the commitment and leadership we can be proud of by offering a cheerful spirit and strong liaison to her committee. Along with Association Manager Carrie Kovash, they have bravely embraced over 70 NEW MEMBER applications in the month of March with 23 more in queue the past few days. They have been amazing in processing the information and getting back to welcoming new members to our community. Way to go Membership Team!
President Frank Cucinotta, along with committee chair Gregory Nelson, have successfully brought Cucinotta's mission one step closer with the opening and coordination of the first K-12 Science Teachers Meeting. Held on the Saturday prior to meeting opening, more information will be coming soon from the new Media Outreach committee.
President Elect and Meeting Chair Gayle Woloschak has expertly navigated not only the all star line up for the Scientific content for the meeting, but also embraced and led us through the integration with the CRH committee to offer the first ever Conference on Radiation & Health to be held in tandem with the RRS Meeting. One registration fee admits both; we hope this, along with one of the most elegant hotels in Las Vegas, The Red Rock Resort, has your travel set on the calendar. WAIT UNTIL YOU SEE WHERE THE FINAL EVENT IS: tune in next week at the opening of registration.

We hope to see you in Las Vegas!

Executive Director, Radiation Research Society
