Hotel Block Information:

A block of rooms at a special conference and per diem rate ($231/night plus applicable taxes) has been set aside at the Bethesda North Marriot Hotel and Conference Center, 5701 Marinelli Road, Rockville, Maryland. The cutoff date for room reservation at this cost is September 24, 2017. Reservations can be made directly with reservations at 1-301-822-9200 (hotel directly), 1-800-228-9290 (toll free) using a credit card. Guests should identify themselves as part of the US NRC RAMP User Group Meeting 2017 Room Block. You can cancel your reservation for no charge until one day before arrival. The special room rate is valid from Sunday, October 15, 2017 through Saturday, October 21, 2017. The hotel parking rates is $15 per day. Alternatively, both the workshop location and hotel are less than 3 minutes walking distance from the White Flint Metro Station.

The Radiation Protection Code Analysis and Maintenance Program (RAMP) is coordinated by the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (USNRC) and its membership includes both domestic and international organizations.

The purpose of RAMP is to support efforts to obtain a well thought-out view of the accuracy and validity of USNRC radiation protection/dose assessment (RP/DA) computer codes over their range of applicability, while suggesting possible improvements, as needed, to the codes.  

RP/DA computer codes currently part of RAMP include:
