NRSB members and staff are excited to announce the launch of the Gilbert W. Beebe Webinar Series which is designed to promote discussions on ionizing and non-ionizing radiation health effects. The webinar series is an extension to the Gilbert W. Beebe symposium established in 2002 to honor the scientific achievements of the late Dr. Gilbert W. Beebe (National Academy of Sciences; National Cancer Institute). Dr. Beebe was one of the designers and key implementers of the epidemiologic studies of populations exposed to the atomic bombings of Hiroshima and Nagasaki and the Chernobyl accident.

The inaugural Gilbert W. Beebe Webinar is scheduled for July 22, 2020,
9-11 AM (EDT).
Meeting agenda, registration, and connection information will follow.

If you have a proposed topic for a future Gilbert W. Beebe Webinar, please reach out to (RRS Member) Dr. Ourania (Rania) Kosti at okosti@nas.edu
