  • Radiation Research Journal: As the official journal of the Society, Radiation Research publishes original and review articles dealing with radiation effects and related subjects in the areas of physics, chemistry, biology and medicine, including epidemiology and translational research. Members receive a 20% discount on publication fees as well as complimentary online access to the Journal.
  • RRS Interactive Website: Through your profile, you can see upcoming events, network with other members, explore the Career Center and connect to your existing social media profiles. You may also view articles on news-worthy radiation projects, discoveries and research.




Membership Options

Membership Type $/Yr  Description
Full (includes ECI)  $250 Benefits of Full membership include voting, holding office, and subscribing to Society publications at favorable rates. Includes Early Career Investigator.
Associate $190  Associate Members shall have all the privileges of Full members except that they may not vote or hold office.
Graduate or Undergraduate Student (Jr. SIT)  $50 Verification of student or trainee status by the departmental chairman or the institution’s training director is required at: (1) time membership is granted, (2) annually at time of membership renewal, and (3) prior to the award of RRS SIT Grants. SIT Members have all privileges of Members except they may not vote or hold office.
Post-doctoral Fellows or Resident (Sr. SIT)  $100 Verification of fellowship or resident status by the departmental chairman or the institution’s residency program director is required as stated for Jr. SITs. SIT Members have all privileges of Members except they may not vote or hold office
Emeritus  $0 For Members who have become emeritus or retired at his/her own institution. Request conversion to Emeritus status at
Corporate $2500 - $5000  A person or corporation is eligible to receive a corporate membership up approval of the RRS Executive Committee. Approval is contingent on the ability to provide educational content or training to RRS Members and demonstrate substantial acts benefiting the Society and its mission. Corporate members may only vote or hold office if they also qualify as a full member. Additional Information.
Institutional  $1,750 Institutional Members may not vote or hold office. Institutional Members are eligible for a 20% discount on position vacancy advertisements in Radiation Research Journal. An unlimited number of graduate students postdoctoral fellows or residents may be sponsored and Institutional Members may choose to add an unlimited number of faculty members to their membership at the rate of $125.00 per faculty member in addition to the $1,750.00 membership fee.
